Adele fue adicta al alcohol

Adele, la premiada cantante británica tuvo al principio de su carrera un grave problema con la bebida que estuvo a punto de hundir su carrera musical. Así lo asegura Marc Shapiro, el autor de una biografía no oficial de la artista que saldrá a la luz el mes que viene y que también revela que la intérprete solía olvidar las letras de sus canciones cuando subía al escenario.

"Durante su primera gira, ella ya se encontraba muy afectada por su adicción al alcohol. Adele bebía demasiado, más de lo que se consideraría aceptable, y no paraba de culparse por ello", afirmó Shapiro a la revista InTouch.

Según su versión, Adele le llegó a confesar que se sentía muy mal por haberse quedado en blanco en mitad de sus conciertos, lo que constituía el resultado de sus constantes borracheras.

"Poco antes de que diera comienzo la actuación, ya estaba sumida en un profundo estado de embriaguez. Se me olvidaban las letras de mis propias canciones y sentía que era lo peor que me podía pasar. Es lo peor del mundo", habría reconocido Adele al autor.

`Adele: La biografía' también contiene otros episodios controvertidos relacionados con la vida sentimental de la intérprete, quien habría sufrido varias infidelidades por parte de su exnovio bisexual.

"A Adele le gusta el drama, así como rodearse de chicos problemáticos que le hagan sufrir. En la superficie, ella parece manejar todas esas situaciones con dignidad pero, en el fondo, tiene el corazón herido tras haber vivido experiencias terribles en el amor", reza uno de los extractos.
